Internal wall insulation is suitable for projects where there are solid walls, properties where external wall insulation might not be suitable or in dormer room loft spaces for example. Insulating interior walls can be especially useful in homes where there are unused rooms, guest rooms or storage rooms – the insulation will reduce the amount of heat transfer into such rooms that don’t require heating or cooling, reducing both heat and air conditioning costs.

We are accredited to use the SWIP system and will survey the property to assess the level and suitability of insulation needed and the type of studwork involved. Installation involves attaching a foam based stud work to the wall areas to provide a framework for the insulation to fit in. We fit Knauf bats insulation in place with a vapour control barrier then plasterboard all areas secure, then skim finish and attach skirting boards and fixings etc. smaller insulation boards are available for difficult areas and reveal`s around windows, doors and openings.
