External Wall Insulation Gloucestershire & surrounding areas.

Generally 65% of heat loss from an average building is through the wall areas. External wall insulation, also known as EWI and external solid wall insulation, is a type of insulation that is attached to the outside of your walls.

Reduce your Heating Bill by as much as 40% annually by installing External Wall Insulation.

After conducting a full survey of the property we prepare the house by protecting windows, doors, paths, roof and access areas, extend drain pipes and guttering, remove alarm systems etc and prepare the outside walls. Then starter tracks are placed at the bottom of wall areas for guidance and insulation boards are fitted to the wall areas mechanically and also using an adhesive. Once all the boards are in place we use a mesh and render system on the wall areas before applying a silicon based coloured finish.

It can take a few days to fit EWI depending on the size of your property. Most installations are completed within 5 – 7 working days for average sized houses but can vary on projects. We use JUB and PRB systems.
